ENTER THE MYSTERY

Crimson
Canvas

Gianna Rossi paints a derelict warehouse to quiet her mind. Then a rusted ventilation vent appears in the watercolor - a detail she has no memory of seeing or painting.

Salvatore Moretti recognises the building from surveillance stills he has studied since his sister vanished there five years ago. He knows every brick, shadow, and doorway. He has never seen that vent.

What begins as a painting pulls them into a buried murder, old family loyalties and a truth someone has worked hard to hide. As Gianna’s memory gaps widen, Salvatore must decide how much he can trust the woman whose art may finally give him the answer he has been chasing

Slow-burn mafia romantic suspense. Dual POV. Closed-door romance. No cliffhanger.

THE STORY

She Painted a Secret
She Was Never
Meant to See

Gianna Rossi sees beauty in forgotten places. But when a detail appears in one of her watercolours that she cannot remember painting, the image becomes more than art - it becomes a clue to a five-year-old murder.

At twenty-four, Gianna has built her work around abandoned buildings and overlooked corners of the city. On the Brooklyn waterfront, she paints what others pass by: rust, shadow, broken windows and beauty in decay.

Then she notices the vent. It sits high in the brickwork, rendered by her own hand - yet she has no memory of ever seeing it. The discovery becomes stranger when Salvatore Moretti recognises the warehouse from evidence tied to his sister’s death.

Salvatore has spent five years searching for the truth. Gianna’s painting may contain the first new lead he has found, but following it pulls them into the conflict between the Moretti and Conti families, where loyalty can be dangerous and betrayal can come from inside the circle.

Now Gianna must decide whether to trust the man who needs what she remembers, while Salvatore must decide whether the woman who painted the clue is part of the answer - or another secret he cannot afford to ignore.
